OVERALL JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Providing the Business Unit Management with an independent appraisal function;
- Examining and evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of systems of internal control within the business unit (business controls);
- Conducting the review of the application and effectiveness of IT procedures and risk assessment methodologies related to IT; the review of security and security systems;
- Compliance audits with respect to laws and regulations;
- Providing the BU Management with objective opinions, counsel and recommendations in respect of the appraisal, review and audit work it undertakes;
- Responsibility for preparation of annual audit plan;
- Conducting operational audits – an investigation into the quality of the nature and the existence of internal controls with regard to IT security and IT infrastructure and systems (process controls, application security and general computer controls, including change control, support level agreements, physical controls and back-up; audits on DRP, desktop builds, anti-virus, project assurance, governance and pre/post implementation reviews, etc.); ensuring that vendors and 3rd parties are in compliance with security policies;
- Conducting compliance audits – gaining assurance regarding the adequacy and effectiveness of the entire compliance process;
- Special investigations – coping with potential violations of laws or regulations related to ING Business, ING internal policies or good business practices or fraudulent activities;
- Cooperation with external auditors, CAS CE and local regulator
KEY CHARACTERISTICS AND SKILLS:
- IT and/or IT security related experience
- Master”s Degree in Computer Science, Accounting, or Business;
- Proficiency in English;
- Certification: CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) would be advantage;
