Due to continued growth of their operations in the area of risk management, they are looking for an ambitious and highly experienced candidate for the role of Risk Analytics Team Manager. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing a team with provides investment risk management service for the European region.
Opis stanowiska / Job description:
– Play key role in development and maintenance of risk management, analytics and reporting services
– Lead and manage initiatives in the areas of operational risk/processing, data cleansing/governance, KPI oversight and execution of SLA provisions in region
– Ensure established validation processes & reporting dashboards are kept updated, launching quality expectations
– Develop & train risk analysts within the team
– Analyze various product types including off Derivatives, Fixed Income & OTC
– Provide analysis based on various risk techniques and valuation methods:
– Value At Risk -V.A.R
– Stress Testing
– Exposures
– Greeks
– Assist on specifying new functionality for further operational improvements/efficiencies
– Assist in creating, documenting & adhering to consistent operational maintenance procedures
– Provide support & address internal inquiries; demonstrate firm understanding of the product to end users
– Support and participate on training risk analysts and other front-line users on system’s functionality and usage
Kogo szukamy / Profile description:
– Relevant University degree in Finance/Economics or related field
– FRM or CFA qualification is a big plus
– Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Financial Risk Service/Investments
– Strong understanding of financial markets and risk management techniques
– Strong analytical ability and problem solving skills
– Proven experience in managing people and developing teams
– Proven work experience with SQL query and Advanced Excel.
– Bloomberg and/or Reuter”s knowledge will be advantageous.
– Fluent English is a must; knowledge of other foreign language will be a big asset
– Driven and ambitious individual with potential for a future advancement
